Role  

As a Tax Specialist at the practice, you will work with a diverse range of clients, assist with complex and varying tax issues, and provide clients with strategic advisory and tax compliance. Your key responsibilities include:

• Provide expert advice and tailored solutions on tax matters to clients from high net wealth individuals and family trusts to large corporates and multinationals.

• Assist with the management of a client portfolio.

• Technical tax compliance, tax effect accounting, IFRS tax note disclosures and tax returns.

• Coach team members

• Identifying risk areas and sustainable planning opportunities

Skills & Experience

The practice can accommodate varied levels of experience from 2 years or more, but as you will be providing advice to team members and clients you will need:

• 2 or more years of prior accounting practice experience in specialist tax advisory

• Good written and verbal communication

• Confident client engagement

• To work well in a team, seeking guidance where needed and offering support where you can.

• Excellent accounting knowledge and interpretation of financial statements

• Superb analytical skills

• Eagerness to learn and continue building your skillset
