Role  

As a senior you will be doing a mixture of compliance and processing but also working with clients in the advisor space to make sure that they are able to take the best path to success.

• Business Advisory Services including tax, management reporting, analysis of financials.

• Working with clients to understand challenges and offer recommendations on improvements to business processes

• Budgeting and forecasting: Engaging in the development of budgets and projections for clients.

• Assisting staff members as needed, with the potential for advancement to a management position within the firm.

• Review and finalisation accountants’ work.

Ongoing career progression will be supported by the firm, with work tasked to challenge and build your skills and support your professional aspirations.  Continuing professional development is provided at all levels.

Skills & Experience

• CA qualification (or equivalent) with at least 4 years' experience

• Strong technical knowledge of NZ tax and compliance

• Proficiency in Xero, Xero Practice Manager, Microsoft Office, and an openness to learning new systems

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

• A collaborative, professional attitude with leadership qualities
