The Role

As a Senior Accountant, you will combine compliance and processing with client advisory work, helping businesses navigate challenges and optimise their financial success. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for clients, applying your strong technical expertise across income tax, company tax, GST, FBT, trusts, management accounting, and reporting standards.

• Support the preparation of business advice, complex special purpose reports, annual financial statements, tax returns, and reconciliations

• Supporting and mentoring team members, with a pathway to leadership roles within the firm

• Reviewing and finalising accountants’ work, ensuring accuracy and quality

About You

You will bring strong technical expertise, prior experience in a public practice environment, and the ability to work autonomously within a close-knit team.

Key requirements include:

• CA qualification

• 4 years+ experience in an NZ practice
