Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough reviews of tax returns, financial statements, GST returns, and reconciliations to ensure compliance with standards and accuracy.
Act as a quality control champion, identifying areas for improvement and providing constructive feedback to junior team members.
Lead and oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses for clients, ensuring work meets high professional standards.
Provide guidance to junior accountants, supporting their development and contributing to a cohesive and skilled team environment.
Engage directly with clients to build strong relationships, understand their business needs, and offer tailored financial advice.
Monitor compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, proactively addressing any issues.
Collaborate with leadership to streamline processes and maintain the firm’s reputation for excellence.
You bring at least 5+ years of experience in a CA firm, with proven expertise in reviewing financial work and leading others.
Proficient in Xero and MYOB software, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
Outstanding attention to detail and an analytical mindset, ensuring the quality and accuracy of all work reviewed.
Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging directly with clients.
A natural leader, comfortable mentoring junior staff and fostering teamwork.
A deep commitment to delivering high-quality work and maintaining the firm’s stellar reputation.
