Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough reviews of tax returns, financial statements, GST returns, and reconciliations to ensure compliance with standards and accuracy.

• Act as a quality control champion, identifying areas for improvement and providing constructive feedback to junior team members.

• Lead and oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses for clients, ensuring work meets high professional standards.

• Provide guidance to junior accountants, supporting their development and contributing to a cohesive and skilled team environment.

• Engage directly with clients to build strong relationships, understand their business needs, and offer tailored financial advice.

• Monitor compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, proactively addressing any issues.

• Collaborate with leadership to streamline processes and maintain the firm’s reputation for excellence.

Skills & Experience

• You bring at least 5+ years of experience in a CA firm, with proven expertise in reviewing financial work and leading others.

• Proficient in Xero and MYOB software, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.

• Outstanding attention to detail and an analytical mindset, ensuring the quality and accuracy of all work reviewed.

• Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging directly with clients.

• A natural leader, comfortable mentoring junior staff and fostering teamwork.

• A deep commitment to delivering high-quality work and maintaining the firm’s stellar reputation.
