In this role, you will be far more than just a number cruncher. You will work alongside experienced Seniors and Directors, gaining practical mentorship, broadening your technical expertise, and collaborating directly with clients to help them achieve their commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Agri Advisory: Acting as a key advisor to rural clients on matters of agricultural tax, livestock accounting, farm management accounts, and in-depth financial analysis.

• Business Partnering: Partnering with farmers and agribusiness owners to uncover pathways for strategic growth, succession planning, and enhanced operational efficiency.

• Forecasting & Planning: Guiding clients in developing robust budgets, cash flow forecasts, and environmental compliance financial modeling to secure their long-term financial health.

• Mentorship: Playing a vital role in the development of junior staff, sharing your specialised agricultural sector expertise and helping to shape future leaders.

• Quality Assurance: Overseeing the final review of rural accounting work, guaranteeing the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

About you:

We are looking for a professional with a proven track record in a public practice setting, paired with a genuine affinity for the rural sector. You are technically proficient, comfortable working independently, yet thrive as part of a collaborative team.

To succeed, you will have:

• Strong experience dealing with agricultural clients, livestock valuation regimes, and rural tax structures.

• Natural leadership qualities and a passion for mentoring colleagues.

• Meticulous attention to detail combined with superb time management skills.

• A sharp, analytical mind with outstanding numerical proficiency.
