Key Responsibilities

In this role, depending on your experience level, you will balance technical compliance duties with advisory work. You will be instrumental in helping local businesses overcome challenges and achieve peak financial performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Advisory: Acting as a key advisor to clients on matters of tax, management accounts, and in-depth financial analysis.

• Business Partnering: Partnering with business owners to uncover pathways for strategic growth and enhanced operational efficiency.

• Forecasting & Planning: Guiding clients in developing robust budgets and forecasts to secure their long-term financial health.

• Mentorship: Playing a vital role in the development of junior staff, sharing your expertise and helping to shape future leaders.

• Quality Assurance: Overseeing the final review of accounting work, guaranteeing the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

About you:

We are looking for a professional with a proven track record in a public practice setting. You are technically proficient, comfortable working independently, yet thrive as part of a collaborative team.

• A full CA qualification would be ideal but not required 

• Natural leadership qualities and a passion for mentoring colleagues.

• Meticulous attention to detail combined with superb time management skills.

• A sharp, analytical mind with outstanding numerical proficiency.
