What does that look like?

This is a long standing Christchurch firm who are looking to continue their growth in the market. They focus on providing a high-quality service to all their clients and not just the big ticket clients. You will be making sure that all clients are given the best possible advice to help reach their goals and getting to work closely with seniors and the directors so you can keep improving your skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing tax returns, financial statements, GST returns and reconciliations

• Budgeting and forecasting: Engaging in the development of budgets and projections for clients.

• A focus on improving your accounting skills with a view to move into senior accounting and potential management

• Working with clients to understand challenges and offer recommendations on improvements to business processes

Skills & Experience  

Ideally you will have experience in an accounting practice and can work well in a team. You will also need:

• Xero and MYOB experience

• Great communication skills. This role will look to have client facing time

• Willingness to learn and keep building upon your skills

• Drive to become CA qualified

• Tax specific experience would be a bonus
